A dental implant replaces the root of a missing tooth with a small titanium post, topped later by a crown once the post has healed into the jawbone. It is a multi-stage treatment that usually runs over a few months, so for anyone working in Kharadi the practical question is less about the surgery and more about fitting the sittings around a full calendar.
Prudent Dental Clinic sits at DNK Square on New Airport Road, Viman Nagar, roughly 4 to 6 km from Kharadi's IT corridor, including EON IT Park and the World Trade Center. Implant care is led by Dr. Puja Bansal (BDS), an implantologist with 27 years of experience, registered with the Maharashtra State Dental Council (reg. A8860). Because we are open all 7 days, 9 AM to 9 PM and until 5 PM on Sundays, the individual stages can be booked for evenings or a weekend rather than during office hours.
Nothing on this page is a diagnosis. Whether an implant is right for you, and how many you would need, is a decision that needs an in-person examination and usually an X-ray or scan. This page explains what the treatment involves and how we plan it around a working week; for the full clinical detail see our dental implants page, or read more about the clinic on our Kharadi dentist page.
Getting to the clinic from Kharadi
The clinic is on the 5th floor of DNK Square (Office No. 503), on New Airport Road in Sakore Nagar, Viman Nagar. From EON IT Park, the World Trade Center or the Kharadi bypass, that is roughly 4 to 6 km, usually about 10 to 20 minutes by car depending on traffic.

An implant is not a single appointment, so most Kharadi patients spread the stages across evenings and weekends. We are open 9 AM to 9 PM, and 9 AM to 5 PM on Sundays, which leaves a realistic window after work for a scan, a placement sitting or a later review. What getting a dental implant involves
Every case starts the same way, with an examination and a scan. From there the treatment moves through a few stages, spaced out to let your jaw heal. Here is the usual shape of it, though your own plan is confirmed only after Dr. Bansal has examined you.
Examination & scan
We examine the mouth and take an X-ray or scan to assess the bone, gums and the space available, then talk through your options.
Implant placement
Under local anaesthetic, the titanium post is placed into the jawbone. Most people feel pressure rather than pain during the procedure.
Healing (osseointegration)
The post is left to integrate with the bone, often around 3 to 6 months. Some soreness for a few days early on is normal and usually eases with ordinary pain relief.
Crown fitting
Once the post has healed, a custom crown is fitted on top, shaped and shade-matched to sit in with your other teeth.
Recovery differs from person to person, and the timeline above is a guide rather than a promise. You will get full aftercare instructions at each stage. For a longer walk-through, see the steps of an implant procedure.
Single tooth or a full arch?
The same idea scales. A single tooth implant replaces one missing tooth on its own, without shaping the healthy teeth on either side. Where several or all of the teeth in an arch are missing, a full-mouth approach places a small number of implants to carry a fixed set of teeth. Which route suits you depends on how many teeth are involved and how much bone there is to work with, which is exactly what the first examination checks. You can read more on our dental implants page.
What about cost?
There is no single price for an implant, because every mouth is different. The total depends on how many implants are needed, the type of crown, and whether any extra step such as bone grafting is involved. Rather than quote a figure online, we give you a written, itemised estimate after your examination, so you can see what each part costs before you decide anything.
